Presentation of our Cluster Manager | National Development Centre, TCI Network event

On June 5, our cluster manager represented our newly certified Innovation Cluster as a speaker at the TCI Network international event organized by the National Development Center.

Zsolt Keresztúri held a presentation under the theme of „Building Sustainable and Accredited Cluster Organisations How to build sustainable cluster organisations and how to meet excellence/accreditation standards?“

The two-day event focused on strengthening clusters to tackle future challenges. Clusters have long been engines of economic growth, and today they play an increasingly important role in fostering ecosystem connections, supporting technological progress, and ensuring that the workforce has the right skills for the future. However, to truly fulfill this key role, cluster policies must also evolve and align with broader societal and economic goals.

But how can cluster policies connect with overarching goals such as the green and digital transitions, and the development of skills needed for the future? And what does “future-proofing” actually mean for clusters?

Hungarian and international participants sought answers to these questions in a co-creative workshop, where they developed actual policy solutions to help clusters become true hubs of transformation not only for businesses but also for industries and people.

The event concluded with outstanding success, as new ideas and directions were found to secure a prosperous future for clusters, thereby supporting businesses and economic actors in effectively responding to the challenges of a changing environment.
